1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Hive Finance S.A.'s ("Hive", "we", "our", "us") platforms, including HiveFinHub, related mobile apps, APIs, widgets, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Legal Policies.

2. Eligibility & Jurisdiction

You must be legally capable of entering binding contracts in your jurisdiction. Access may be restricted where local law prohibits our Services. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, including tax reporting.

3. Accounts & Security

  • Provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential.
  • Enable 2FA and review active sessions regularly.
  • Notify us immediately of suspected compromise. We may temporarily restrict activity to protect you.

4. Products & Features

Products include multi-asset portfolios, trading, crypto swaps/exchange, and loan services. Availability varies by region, verification level, and risk profile.

5. KYC/AML Compliance

We implement robust AML/KYC processes. We may request documentation at any time, suspend activity where verification is incomplete, and file reports to regulators when required by law.

6. Fees, Pricing & Taxes

  • Fees are disclosed before confirmation and summarized in your dashboard.
  • Exchange rates are sourced from market providers; slippage may occur.
  • You are responsible for taxes applicable to your activity.

7. Custody, Segregation & Insurance

Client assets are held in segregated custodial accounts with reputable partners across multiple jurisdictions. Under our insurance and reinsurance partnerships, client deposits and investments are protected against operational and custodial risks as described in our Risk & Investor Protection.

8. Acceptable Use & Conduct

  • No unlawful activity, market abuse, fraud, or sanctions violations.
  • No attempts to circumvent controls, manipulate systems, or harm other users.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

The Services, content, and brand assets are protected by IP laws. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or misuse our IP.

10. Privacy & Data

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy & Cookies Policy. We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only under strict legal or contractual bases.

11. Liability & Disclaimers

Market performance is inherently uncertain. While principal is protected through our insurance/custody framework, returns are not guaranteed unless expressly stated by a specific product.

12. Suspension & Termination

We may restrict or terminate access for breach of these Terms or legal requirements. You may close your account after settling obligations and withdrawing balances.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or email before taking effect.
